Transplanting for Reclamation? No Problem!

The season who shall not be named...

It's that 'F' word we all don't want to say, amiright? But we've got to face it- Fall is coming.

Here's a few priorities that should make your list:

Hydroseeding is Sub Zero Temps?

Yes, it can be done.

In fact, we've hydroseeded at -17°C just last year.

Here's some quick facts:

  • Germination will only occur during the right conditions, so don't worry, the seeds are happy to just lay there awhile
  • Track-packed soil is ideal for seeding on frozen ground
  • One inch or less of snow & we're good to go!

Tree Planting

Just got easier... with us.

DID YOU KNOW 'the best way to identify pioneer species is to look at areas of old disturbance near the site of your project?'. The plants growing on these sites will have the greatest chance of success as reclamation species.

(Peace Liard Re-Vegetation Manual, Northeast Invasive Plant Committee, 2010)

So in regular people speak,
why not reclaim with existing plants near the work site? (with permission, of course)

And to do that, why not hire us?

We're equipped with trained environmental staff, equipment operators, and tree spades to do just that.

Not to mention, we can fill in those extra empty spaces with our native plant plugs from our nursery.
